Mark Weetman is the CEO and Key Individual at Unum Capital (formerly Vunani Private Clients), a prominent retail Cat I, II & IIA Financial Services Provider. With over 12 years of leadership in this role, Mark has played a crucial part in shaping the company.

Mark’s career includes key positions at Vunani Hedge Funds and Vunani Private Client Stockbrokers. His extensive experience and expertise in investment management, research and analysis, alternative investments /hedge funds, private equity, and securities trading have made him a respected figure in the financial industry.

His educational background includes a MBL from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and a BCom Hons in Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. His dedication to financial expertise is further exemplified by his RE 5 and RE1 certifications.

Mark previously represented the retail FSP community on the JSE Derivatives Advisory Board, and the JSE Retail Advisory Committee and is currently an active member of the Financial Intermediaries Association of South Africa (FIA) Discretionary Investment Manager sub-committee.
