Simbarashe Manwere

Simbarashe Manwere is CEO of LeAgile Blue Ocean Strategic Solutions (LA BOSS), a specialist firm providing consultancy and advisory services in infrastructure finance and project finance, environmental and climate finance, logistics, procurement and supply chain management (SCM) among others. He has lectured post-graduate courses in the faculties of Engineering and Commerce on infrastructure finance, mineral economics and marketing, Treasury and Portfolio Management. He has written two university study manuals, Public Finance (2005/6) and Financial Markets and Portfolio Management (2006) both for the Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU). He is currently consulting for Africa’s first Aerotropolis (airport-centred city region) located in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) operated by Dube TradePort Corporation (DTPC) around the King Shaka International Airport (KSIA) in Durban as part of a 50-year multi-modal Developmental Masterplan. He holds B.Comm Honours in Finance and MSc in Finance and Investments degrees from National University of Science and Technology (NUST). He is a member of the Board of Governors of the South African Institute of Financial Markets (SAIFM) and also an MBA Examinations moderator and research supervisor for a Sandton-based university, Johannesburg.
