| We are sharing an exciting opportunity from a boutique financial firm in Johannesburg seeking a Junior Equity Derivatives Sales & Research Analyst. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a strong interest in equity derivatives.
Role Overview:
· Support both sales and research functions, contributing to client relationship management and trade idea generation.
· Collaborate with trading, structuring, and research teams to deliver innovative equity derivative solutions to institutional and pension fund clients.
· Conduct market analysis, assist in trade execution, and contribute to research reports and daily market updates.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
· Basic understanding of financial markets and equity derivatives, with strong analytical and communication skills.
· Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg/Reuters or programming (Python/VBA) is advantageous.
Experience: 0–2 years in financial markets, including internships or junior roles. Prior exposure to equity derivatives is preferred but not required.
